Beth Goodiel's Women's Wellness Center provides healthcare to women of all ages - offering annual GYN exams & non-emergency problem visits. Though Beth no longer offers Fertility or OB Services, she can provide you with recommendations for specialists.

We are committed to providing specialized women's healthcare services to keep you active and healthy throughout every stage of life. We have a special interest in providing affordable options for women in mid-Life and beyond - including hormone replacement therapy, MonaLisa Touch treatments & other aesthetic options to keep you healthy and active.

Hi, I'm Beth, and I have over 30 years of experience in reproductive health and specialize in women's health with a special interest in atrophic vaginitis.

MORE ABOUT ME
 

I have worked in Women’s Healthcare since graduating from George Mason University in 1979 with a degree in Nursing. I worked in labor and delivery until I returned to school to study surgery to become a certified First Assistant in GYN Surgery in 1989 (CRNFA, CNOR). For over 30 years, I worked at Fairfax OB/GYN as their first assistant – working with patients having cesarean sections, GYN surgeries, and births. I began Midwifery in 1997 with an MS-CNM certification. I also teach childbirth education and give seminars to educate student midwives on cesarean delivery.

Bachelor of Science in Nursing – George Mason University

Certified Surgical First Assistant – Delaware Community College

Master of Science Certified Nurse Midwife – Georgetown University

 

MY HOBBIES & COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
 

I enjoy white-water rafting, skiing, needlepoint, SCUBA diving, and anything related to my grandchildren.

MORE ABOUT ME
 

I have been an advocate of Women's Health Initiatives for over 30 years and have worked in private practice in Northern Virginia since 1980 where I was one of the co-founders of Fairfax OB/GYN. 

 

MY EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
 

I went to medical school and completed my internship and residency at George Washington University Medical Center where I was Chief Resident during Year 4. 

​

I have been a member and Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians & Gynecologist, the American College of Surgeons, and the Council of Gynecological Endoscopy for many years. I am a Master Robotic Surgeon and previously mentored and taught colleagues as they learned to use the DaVinci Robot for minimally invasive procedures.

MY HOBBIES & COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
 

I enjoy spending time with my family and grandchildren, SCUBA Diving, underwater photography, skiing, golf and following professional sports teams.

​

I support organizations that promote rural health initiatives, emergency first aid for natural disasters, and ocean conservation.
